In Local, Police Blotter

On the morning of January 13, 2018, a Peterborough Police Service (PPS) officer observed an individual execute a u-turn and travel in the wrong direction on a one-way street. The Director of the Special Investigations Unit, Tony Loparco, has determined there are no reasonable grounds to lay criminal charges against a PPS officer in relation to the serious injuries sustained by the 55-year-old driver of the vehicle that was struck.
