Breaking News – Peterborough OPP Investigating Collision on Highway 115 at the Parkway

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and emergency crews were called to assist at a collision at approximately 7:30pm on the northbound lanes of Highway 115 at the Parkway on January 6, 2019.

A vehicle was travelling northbound on Highway 115 when the driver lost control. The vehicle crashed through the guardrail and fell on to the Parkway ramp.

The male driver has been transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The northbound lanes of Highway 115 have been closed down at Airport Road while members trained in Collision Reconstruction measure and document the scene. The closure will remain in place for several hours while police investigate.
