Durham Police – Outdoor Marijuana Grow Op Attacked

On Thursday, October 18, 2018 at approximately 6 a.m., five males carrying guns approached a small group of workers tending to a legal outdoor marihuana grow operation near the intersection of Concession Road 4 and Highway 12 near Beaverton.

Four workers were forced into the security trailer and were tied up. Their personal belongings were taken. The suspects then took several garbage bags full of dried marihuana from a barn used for storage. The suspects then stole one of the worker’s personal vehicles.

The workers were not able to work themselves free until approximately 10 a.m. and then called the police. Officers arrived and searched the area, but no arrests were made. The stolen personal vehicle was located parked a distance away.

Suspect #1 is described as male, white, with a French accent, 40-45 years old, 5’10” tall, about 140 lbs. with grey, short hair.

Suspect #2 is described as a male, white, 32-35 years old, 5’10” tall, about 150 lbs. with short, black hair, and a full beard. He was wearing a ski mask.

Suspects #3, #4 and #5 are described only as male.
