Member of Parliament for Northumberland—Peterborough South Kim Rudd Withdraws Name from Consideration as Parliamentary Secretary

In Local, News

Kim Rudd, Member of Parliament for Northumberland—Peterborough South, has released the following statement:

“After a lengthy reflection, I have decided to withdraw my name from consideration as a Parliamentary Secretary.

“I have been more than honoured to serve the Prime Minister as Parliamentary Secretary (PS) to the Minister of Natural Resources. In my role as PS, I’ve been privileged to represent Canada at home and abroad in championing Canada’s vital natural resources sector.

“This is not an easy decision, but I feel I must focus my energies on my riding of Northumberland— Peterborough South, and on the important issues that matter to my constituents.
