Special Presentations by Navy League Cadet Corps In Port Hope

Lakeridge Chrysler received a certificate of appreciation signed by all the Northumberland Navy League Cadet Corps ( 15 ) who will be attending camp as a result of the generous donation provided by Lakeridge Chrysler and a ceremonial paddle.
The paddle is a naval tradition which encompasses the knot work that they teach the cadets to learn. Knots are Portuguese senate, Ringbolt hitching, Turks head knot the cadets have to learn in their seamanship training
The three gold coins represent the Navy League Northumberland Branch,
Navy League Cadet Corps Northumberland and RCSCC Skeena Cadets Corps.

Papas Pizza Land supports the Navy League Cadet Corps throughout the year with ongoing donations to help with weekend exercises food requirements and fundraising efforts.
The special ceremonial Pizza Paddle was presented to owner of Papas Pizza Land Jake Naccarato
The ceremonial knot work and the three coins representing the branch and the two cadets corps
There is over 125 feet of rope on the ceremonial Pizza Paddle and close to 85 feet of rope on the Lakeridge Chysler paddle
The paddles are handmade and used to teach our seamanship training for the cadets.
