Rotary Harbourfront Park Fountain Delayed This Summer

In Local

(Today’s Northumberland file photo)

Staff have been working to prep for the installation of a new rubber liner at the Rotary Harbourfront Park Fountain that was identified and approved in the 2025 budget.

During preparation work, some of the concrete coping broke and requires repair which has slowed this process down.

Staff are working quickly to find a solution.

In the meantime, the butterfly wings are being installed today and the rest of the site is being readied so it can open as soon as possible.
