Rollover On County Road 45 in Alnwick/Haldimand Township

Three people were trapped after their vehicle lost control on icy roads and flipped on its side on County Road 45 by Beagle Club Road on Monday, April 2, 2018.

The collision was reported at approximately 9:20 a.m. and responding units were advised the roads were “extremely” slippery.

Because the occupants were wearing seatbelts, they were suspended in the vehicle until helped out by emergency workers.

None of the occupants were seriously injured.  The road was temporarily shut down for the removal of the vehicle.

One of the occupants was an off-duty firefighter.
