Stubborn Hay Bale Fire – Port Hope

Over 20 large bales of hay went up in flames on County Road 2 by Zion Road at around 6 p.m. on Friday night in the Municipality of Port Hope. In some cases firefighters literally unrolled the hay to get at the stubborn fire. The fire was beside a barn, but the fire didn’t spread. no word on cause
