New Acting Director of the Works and Engineering – Port Hope

On Tuesday, March 6, 2018, Municipality of Port Hope Council gave direction to appoint Jeanette Davidson as the Acting Director of the Works and Engineering department, in an interim role that is effective immediately.

“Jeanette’s work ethic, attention to detail and experience has undoubtedly prepared her for this opportunity,” remarked Councillor Terry Hickey, who is the Chair of the Works and Engineering committee.

Most recently the Manager of Engineering, Ms. Davidson has over thirteen years’ experience working in the Municipality of Port Hope, with invaluable historical knowledge of the community and the Municipality’s infrastructure.Ms. Davidson’s appointment is for a term of six months while the Municipality evaluates the position and re-engages in the recruitment process.
