Cameco and the Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services conducted a planned joint training exercise at the facility on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Cameco performs planned emergency exercises and holds regular consultations with local emergency services as part of our commitment to the continuous improvement of our emergency planning and preparedness program.

Working together on various training exercises allows both agencies to work better as a team should an emergency arise.
