MNRF Officers Monitor Anglers Along the Ganny for Opening Day of Trout Fishing

Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry officers patrolled the Ganaraska River on opening day of trout fishing season on Saturday, April 22, 2023.

Two officers patrolled the area of the Ganaraska River issuing several tickets for various offences including trespassing ($240) in the area east of Sylvan Glen Conservation Area.

Officers also patrolled the area of downtown Port Hope checking for licenses and the number of fish caught.
