“Following an extensive recruitment process supported by an external executive search firm, the Board’s Recruitment Committee, and the entire Board of Directors, unanimously endorsed
Nicole as our successful candidate”, said Charlotte Monardo, Board President.

Currently residing with her family in Grafton, Nicole has worked in healthcare since 2003, and most recently as Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
Nicole began her career as a Registered Nurse at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University and is currently completing a
Master of Health Studies – Leadership Focus with Athabasca University. Nicole has worked collaboratively on many initiatives throughout her career and brings a special passion for child
and youth mental health issues, through an inclusive and equitable lens.

“Committed to improving the lives of children, youth and families in our community, Nicole will build on the legacy of our outgoing Executive Director, Carol Beauchamp”, said Monardo. “I am
confident she will continue to lead Rebound Child & Youth Services toward our vision of all children and youth having the opportunity to reach their fullest potential.”

“Rebound has developed a strong reputation in the Northumberland Community, thanks to strong leadership, and a generous and supportive community, and it is an honour to be entrusted to move that work forward with a terrific team, and a network of collaborative partnerships”, said Nicole Wood.

“I feel a strong personal alignment with Rebound’s positive organizational culture, and its values of Respect, Resilience, Responsibility and Ripple Effect, and I very much look forward to becoming Rebound’s next Executive Director. Carol Beauchamp has left a strong and lasting legacy at Rebound, and I want to take this opportunity to recognize all that she has done for
Rebound, and for elevating the importance of child and youth issues in our community”.

Nicole Wood will begin her new role at Rebound on April 17th, 2023.
