Damage Still Being Assessed at Legion Village As A Result of Winter Storm

In Local

Damage is still being assessed at Legion Village in Cobourg after a fierce winter storm damaged the roof and part of the brink work on the building on December 23, 2022.

Executive Direct of Legion Village, Michael Eden said, “the assessors are working with the contractors to assess all areas and set priorities for repairs. The south west wall and roof sustained considerable damage, and therefore will take priority. The contractors will be here daily to either repair, or put in temporary stop gap measures until supplies can arrive for a more permanent fix.”

Eden added that none of the residents had to be relocated.
