Trinity College School (TCS) is reaching out to local Port Hope and Cobourg businesses, not-for-profits and organizations to offer volunteers as part of the School’s annual Week Without Walls initiative.
About Week Without Walls: For 11 years, the students and staff of TCS have taken part in a week-long service learning experience, heading out into the community to lend a helping hand. Since 2020, we have not been able to run our annual event and have been longing to get back out into the community. Our volunteers are eager and willing to help in various capacities, whether it be entertaining residents at retirement homes, cleaning and organizing office spaces, packing food hampers, creating activities for children, or hauling lumber. Experiences like this allow our students to fully understand the shared impact of community service. Working for three consecutive afternoons, they can see the difference their contributions make and also observe the reality that volunteer work is never truly finished. Volunteer Availability: Volunteers will be available the afternoons of November 29th, November 30th and December 1st. Students will be accompanied by a TCS staff member.
