Alnwick/Haldimand Township Fire Department and OFM Conclude Investigation Into House Fire

The Alnwick/Haldimand Township Fire Department and the Office of the Fire Marshal have concluded their investigation into a fire in Alderville on Thursday, June 9, 2022.

When fire crews arrived at the home on Dibikad Boulevard in Alderville the house was engulfed in flames.

Trent Hills along with Hamilton Township Fire Department were also called for assistance.

Alnwick/Haldimand Fire Chief Dave Dawson stated on Saturday, June 11, 2022 that the OFM and fire department have concluded the cause and origin of the fire scene and have turned the investigation over to the Northumberland OPP Crime Unit.

The fire started in the basement of the home.

The three occupants made it safely out of the residence.
