Cobourg Celebrates The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

In Local, Photo Gallery

Cobourg celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on Sunday, May 29, 2022 with two ceremonies.

The first was the unveiling of the new etching at Jubilee Park at the corner of William and Elgin Streets in Cobourg.

Members of the Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums along with the Concert Band of Cobourg were in attendance with Mayor John Henderson officiating the ceremony of the etching on the cairn.

Approximately an hour after the ceremony in Jubilee Park, the Cobourg Legion Pipes and Drums lead a parade to Victoria Park for a concert involving both bands to an appreciative audience.
