Northumberland OPP Investigating Serious Collision in Cramahe Township

Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating a serious motor vehicle collision that closed County Rd 25 in Cramahe Township for several hours.  

On Thursday February 03, 2022 at approximately 08:52 a.m., police received reports of a head on motor vehicle collision that occurred on County Rd 25 between County Rd 21 and Telephone Rd in Cramahe Township. One of the drivers involved suffered serious injuries and was subsequently airlifted from the scene by Ornge Air Ambulance to receive emergency medical treatment.  The other driver was transported by ambulance to Northumberland Hills Hospital

As a result of the collision, County Rd 25 remained closed for several hours while investigators conducted their investigation. The roadway is now open.
