Quinte West OPP – Driver Charged Following Overnight Collision

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged the driver of a vehicle following a single vehicle collision overnight in Trenton.

On October 17, 2021, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Quinte West OPP responded to Hamilton Road and RCAF Road after a report of a single vehicle rollover collision. Hastings Quinte EMS and Quinte West Fire attended and the driver was reported to be uninjured. As a result of the investigation, the driver was arrested after refusing to participate in a roadside alcohol screening test.

Lilia HARLENOK, 34 years old of Richmond Hill was charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand, contrary to section 320.15(1) of the Criminal Code.

The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on November 18, 2021. Their vehicle was impounded for seven (7) days and their license was suspended for 90 days.
