Cobourg Police – Two Women Arrested on Warrants

On the afternoon of Sunday, May 9, 2021, officers with the Durham Regional Police Service located a woman
currently sought by the Cobourg Police Service on the strength of an outstanding arrest warrant.
As a result of a subsequent investigation, 27-year-old Jessie-Lynn MARTIN of Oshawa was arrested and
charged with Fail to Comply with Probation Contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
MARTIN was released from police custody with a future court date.


Later that evening, Jennifer KEMSLEY, a 39-year-old woman from Campbellford, attended the Cobourg Police
station to turn herself in on an outstanding bench warrant.
There were no additional charges, and the warrant was endorsed for release. KEMSLEY was released on an
undertaking with a future court date.
