COVID-19 Can’t Keep NHH Foundation Down

Northumberland Hills Hospital board learned at its April meeting that the NHH Foundation raised $3-million in its latest fiscal year.

“We are ecstatic to be wrapping up what has turned out to be a very successful fundraising year,” Foundation representative Wendy Ito said in sharing the news.

“We cannot deny this speaks strongly to the devotion of our community to its hospital, and our planning for the coming year is in its early planning stages. And our events will again have new and refreshing twists to attract and entertain our supporters – so stay tuned. There will be exciting updates in the meetings to come.”

“That’s quite an achievement during this time,” board chair Pam Went declared.

“I know Rhonda (Foundation Executive Director Rhonda Cunningham) regularly sends notes out to all our supporters, and our community has once again shown it’s one of the most generous, I am sure, in the province.”
