Emergency services responded to Transition House on Saturday, March 7, 2020.

At approximately 8:20 p.m. emergency services responded for reports of a unconscious person at Transition House.

While at the scene, Today’s Northumberland was notified of damage at the front of Trinity United Church.

A large flower pot that was at the base of the steps entering the church was destroyed on the sidewalk on Division Street.

It’s believed the damage happened shortly before the pedestrian informed Today’s Northumberland as the person walked by the area approximately 30 minutes earlier and there was no damage.

Police were notified of the damage.

Approximately an hour after emergency services arrived a person walked out of Transition House accompanied by paramedics, firefighters and police and into the ambulance.

Officials said the person suffered a medical emergency.
