Numerous Parking Meters Vandalized In Cobourg

The Cobourg police are looking to the public for any information regarding the vandalizing of the Town of Cobourg’s parking meters. The meters are either being completely removed or only the mechanism that holds the coin is being vandalized. Cobourg police have been attending the scenes and are working with the Town of Cobourg’s By-law Officer to identify all of the areas affected.

It is believed that more than ten meters have been affected.

The Cobourg Police Service and the Town of Cobourg are encouraging everyone to report any suspicious or criminal activity. If you have information that may help with this investigation or any others, please call Cobourg Police Service or anonymously on the Crime Stoppers “Hot Line”, available to callers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
