Theft and Possession of property obtained by Crime Under $5000

On Wednesday April 4, 2018 Cobourg Police responded to a suspect vehicle that was identified in a shoplift incident that occurred on March 11, 2018 at a local store in the Town of Cobourg. After Cobourg Police received further information from employees that work at the local store, the suspect male that was involved in the original occurrence on March 11 2018 was located and arrested.

As a result of the police investigation 32 year old male, Brian ARMSTRONG, from Cobourg was charged with one count of Theft Under $5000, and one count of Possession of Property obtained by crime under $5000. Brian ARMSTRONG was released from Cobourg Police with a Promise to Appear with a later court date.
