Brush Fire South of Grafton

In Local, News

Alnwick/Haldimand Township firefighters quickly extinguished a brush fire near railway tracks on Friday, March 16, 2018 around 10 a.m. south of Grafton, just off Station Road.

With the dry weather, fire departments advise residents to check with their municipal offices concerning burning off brush at this time of year.  If a fire department is called to a out of control burn, the resident could be issued a fine and possibly charged with the expenses of the fire department.
