Northumberland Nighthawks and Markham Waxers game four ended in a tie at the Milliken Mills Community Centre in Markham on Wednesday night.
The series is the best out of five, or first team to get six points.
The Nighthawks took the first two games, but Markham won the third and with last nights game ending in a tie, the Nighthawks need either a tie or win to take the series on Saturday night in Cobourg.
Last nights game started out as a scoreless first period with both teams getting chances at each end.
The only goal in the second period was by Markham at 6:36, but the Nighthawks fought back in the third with Joseph Mininni scoring at 4:10 with an assist by Caleb Shore.
The 10-minute overtime didn’t solve anything and the game ended in a tie.
The next game is Saturday night at the Cobourg Community Centre at 6 p.m. on The Pond.
