Northumberland OPP – Break and Enter in Hamilton Township

(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – Officers from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a break and enter into a garage in Hamilton Township near Harwood, Ontario.

The break-in took place at a property on Rice Lake Scenic Drive sometime overnight on October 20,, 2018. Suspect(s) gained entry into the detached garage and stole a number of fishing rods, various fishing equipment, two BMX bicycles, two black Sea-Doo wetsuits, a green Pelican kayak, black and white Bauer goaltender equipment including the skates, and a yellow Karcher pressure washer.

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigations and would ask that anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call the Peterborough/Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
