On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, Operation Red Nose is launching its 30th safe ride campaign in Ontario, opening a new season of cooperation, fun, and safety on the road. This free volunteer service has helped thousands of people get home safe during the holiday season. From November 28th to December 31st, 2025, the host organizations in Northumberland and Quinte, will join forces to provide a safe ride home service to those who choose to celebrate responsibly. In Canada, over 60 local host organizations will deploy the annual campaign in 7 provinces.
Planning Your Safe Ride Home
Once again, this year, Operation Red Nose is rallying thousands of dedicated volunteers eager to support responsible celebrations in their communities. By choosing this trusted service, motorists can enjoy a safe and friendly ride home all while contributing to a meaningful cause. Every donation collected throughout the campaign is directly reinvested in local youth and amateur sports organizations, helping them thrive year-round. The population is invited to visit operationrednose.com to discover participating communities, learn how the service works, or sign up to volunteer. Useful details such as dates and hours of operation are also available online and on the Red Nose mobile app to help Canadians better plan their safe ride home this holiday season.
A Gesture from the Heart
“For three decades, Operation Red Nose has been resting on a simple premise: solidarity can change
the course of an evening… and sometimes, even a life. Each year, thousands of volunteers join forces
to improve road safety, but also to spread humanity during the holiday season. Their commitment is
the true driving force behind this great chain of generosity that continues, to this day, to make a
tangible difference in our communities,” says Jean-Marie De Koninck, Founding President of
Operation Red Nose. The organization invites the public to register to volunteer at
operationrednose.com.
