Belleville Police Service – Incidents Include Break and Enter, Breach, Driver Charged with Impaired (Names Released)

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 124 calls for service beginning at 5:00 am on September 19, 2025 to 5:00 am on September 22, 2025.

Break and Enter
On September 15th at approximately 7:30pm, an unknown male entered a school in the city’s east end through unlocked doors. Video surveillance showed him walking through the halls before leaving the building. Through investigation and review of video footage, officers were able to identify the male. On September 19th, officers observed the male walking on Dundas St. W. As a result, James Patrick, 46-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with break and enter. He was held for a bail hearing.

Breach of Release Order
On September 19th at 10:38am, Belleville Police received a report that a male had failed to comply with a release order requiring him to return home each night and reside with his surety. At 5:39pm, officers were notified that the male had returned home. Officers attended the residence and located him. As a result, Darrell Snyder, 39-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with failure to comply with a release order. He was held for a bail hearing.

Driver Charged with Impaired
On September 21st at 9:07pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in the downtown area. Upon arrival, officers located the suspect vehicle, which had damage to its front tire. Officers also observed a pole that was struck nearby, consistent with a motor vehicle collision involving the vehicle. As a result of investigation, Racheal Stull, 28-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus. She was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with several offences.
She was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
