Video – Parking Is A No No Where There Are No, No Parking Signs

In Local, Photo Gallery

A Cobourg Municipal By-Law Officer issues a $160 fine to a pickup truck parked in a parking lot just north of Cobourg Harbour in the early morning hours of September 12, 2025.

Numerous people have complained about being tickets in the lots surrounding the harbour.  The bylaw states there is no parking overnight between the hours of 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. yet there are no signs in the area warning potential violators.

The ticket was given out at approximately 12:30 a.m. with no other vehicles parked in the lot.
