World Suicide Prevention Day At the Lions Community Centre

Monday, September 10, 2018 is World Suicide Prevention Day. There will be a community information session, including a brief presentation about suicide prevention, the opportunity to speak with representatives from several local agencies about mental health support and services in Northumberland County and a candle light memorial.

This event is free of charge, thanks to the co-sponsorship of the Lions Club of Cobourg and Maureen Pollard Social Work Services, as well as a generous donation from Margaret Francis, in loving memory of her son, Bishop Anthony Night. Each participant will receive a tea light candle for the memorial, and light refreshments will be served.
