The 60th annual Northumberland Scottish Festival and Highland Games were held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Port Hope.

“After a storied history in Cobourg we haven’t forgotten our roots there, we operate as the Cobourg Highland Games Society we’re excited to hold our 60th Games in Port Hope this year,” said President George Cackette.

“Our name may have changed, but your Scottish experience will still be the same.”

On Friday night the Stones of Strength competition took place along with the Ceilidh.

On Saturday, the opening ceremonies kicked off the day with 28 pipe bands competing in Grades one through 5.

The Highland Dancers were taking part throughout the day, and of course the heavy events were taking place on the field.

Clan Avenue was all about learning about your Clan and the Scottish heritage.

There were also many food vendors and merchandise for every member of the family.
