Campbellcroft Residents Win $100,000 Prize with Instant Gold Pursuit

In Local

Margret Beatty and John Beatty of Campbellcroft are $100,000 richer after winning with INSTANT GOLD PURSUIT (Game #2411).

Margret and John, a married couple for 40 years, said they have been playing the lottery for decades, since the Wintario days. “We play a variety of games and bought this ticket because we won $250 on the first GOLD PURSUIT ticket we purchased,” they shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up their winnings.

“I checked the ticket at least 100 times a day,” Margret laughed. “I had to catch my breath.”

Margret played the ticket and checked it on the OLG app when she discovered their big win. “I gasped and said, ‘Wow, really!'” she said. “I showed John and he said, ‘Woohoo!'”

“This win will help us pay some bills and do some much-needed work around our home. We welcome this windfall with gratitude,” Margaret concluded.

INSTANT GOLD PURSUIT is available for $25 and the top prize is $100,000. Odds of winning any prize are 1 in 3.19. Visit the INSTANT page on OLG.ca for more information on this and other great games.

The winning ticket was purchased at Giant Tiger on Peter Street in Port Hope.
