Cobourg Mayor Calls for Special Council Meeting on Thursday

The Town of Cobourg Legislative Services Division would like to inform all residents that pursuant to section 5.6 of the Town of Cobourg Procedural By-law, the Mayor has called a Special Meeting of Council to take place on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 1 p.m.

The meeting is being held to consider the following items:

  • Provincial Planning Process and Legislation Review
  • One Year in Review of the Town of Cobourg Development Division
  • Development FAQ of the Mayor
  • A Motion from Mayor Cleveland regarding the use of Interim Control By-law

The agenda will be posted on the Town website. Members of the public may attend the meeting in-person or view the livestream at the following link: https://calendar.cobourg.ca/council. If you have any questions or would like to provide feedback, please email clerk@cobourg.ca.
