Video – Photo Gallery – Northumberland Pride Takes Over Downtown Port Hope

In Community, Local, Photo Gallery

Downtown Port Hope was filled with colour, community, and celebration on Saturday, June 6, 2026, as Northumberland Pride hosted Pride Month festivities.

The free, all-ages event took place at Memorial Park from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring community activities, entertainment, and opportunities to celebrate diversity and inclusion.

The day began with the Northumberland Pride Parade at 9:30 a.m. through downtown Port Hope. The parade was open to everyone wishing to participate and once in Memorial Park there were a few speeches by dignitaries and then the celebration began with non-stop entertainment for the afternoon.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to bring family and friends and join in a day celebrating community, inclusion, and pride in the heart of Port Hope.
