The mighty Ganaraska River seems to be mostly covered in a layer of ice through downtown Port Hope.
The ice through the downtown extends from Corbett’s Dam to nearly the mouth of the harbour.
Nearly all of Corbett’s dam is covered in a layer of thick ice at the falls. While a number of ducks seem to like the bit of open water below the falls.
At the entrance to Port Hope a number of anglers annually disregard the signs to venture out on the breakwalls for steelhead trout.
