Cobourg Police – Port Hope Woman Facing Impaired Driving Charge (No Name Released)

On Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025 at approximately 11:00am, police were alerted to a possible impaired driver in the Town of Cobourg.

Officers located the vehicle, being driven by a 42-year-old woman from Port Hope.

Following the failure of a roadside test, the woman was arrested and transported to the station.

She was charged with Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs, and Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80plus) and later released with a future court date.

The woman’s driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for 7 days.
