Cobourg Police – Markham Man Charged with Theft x2 (No Name Released)

Cobourg Police have charged a 34-year-old Markham man following an ongoing investigation into two separate theft incidents at a business located on Elgin Street West in Cobourg.

The incidents occurred in July 2025 and early November 2025. Through the course of the investigation, police identified a suspect linked to both occurrences.

On November 25, 2025, a 34-year-old Markham man was arrested and charged with two counts of Theft Under $5,000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. The accused was released on an undertaking with a future court date.
