Upgrades to William Street Bridge in Cobourg Continue

In Local

Work continues on the upgraded William Street bridge in Cobourg which includes several different sections that are constructed at different phases of the project.

Different sections are proceeding according to the contractor’s construction plan. However, the project schedule has been extended due to challenging subsurface conditions, coordination issues, and the actual condition of structural elements of the existing bridge. The Town and contractor are working to minimize any schedule delays.
