Video – Large Limb Crashes Down on Vehicle in Cobourg

Two people were lucky to escape with no injuries after a large limb fell on their car in Cobourg on Monday, November 3, 2025.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. emergency services were dispatched to King Street East, just east of Henry Street.

A vehicle traveling westbound on King Street East was struck by a large limb from a maple tree.

One person managed to free themselves from the vehicle, but the passenger needed to be extricated by members of the Cobourg Fire Department.

Both occupants of the vehicle were uninjured.

The King Street East was closed from Henry Street to D’Arcy Street until Public Works crews removed the limb.
