Video – Use Caution While Driving When There is a Power Outage

In Local

Power was out for a large part of Cobourg on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

The power outage affected areas in both the east and west ends of Cobourg from approximately noon to 2 p.m.

When there is a power outage intersections are designated as all stops, making sure the intersection is clear before proceeding through.

Unfortunately a number of vehicles on William Street at Harden Street proceeded through the intersection, some without even slowing down.
