For anyone planning to watch the Blue Jays this Saturday, October 25, 2025 you’re welcome to join in on the celebrations at Memorial Park in Port Hope.

Local businessman and Port Hope councillor Adam Pearson was busy trying out the screen in the Memorial Park Bandshell on Thursday preparing for the event.

Working with MLB, Rogers and the Toronto Blue Jays, Pearson announced on Thursday he has the licensing agreement to allow him to have the watch party for game two of the World Series pitting the Toronto Blue Jays against the Los Angles Dodgers.

Pearson said it will be an “amazing event” for the community to bring their lawn chairs, and bundle up for the weather with the game starting at 8 p.m.

“What better way to enjoy the World Series than right here in Memorial Park in downtown Port Hope.”

“It’s been a fast and furious 48-hours,” said Pearson with a lot of things still to be done before the game.

There is no rain in the forecast, but the weather will be a tad chilly during the evening, so bundle up.

Pearson invites people to go out to a local restaurant before the game, eat-in or grab take-out and come down and cheer on the Jays.

“Go Jays Go!”
