Cobourg Police – Cobourg Man Facing Drug Charges (No Name Released)

A 38-year-old Cobourg man is facing drug-related charges after being arrested on Monday.

On October 13, 2025, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police on general patrol observed an individual wanted in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation.

The accused was arrested. During the arrest, police located

  • Approximately 15.34 g green fentanyl
  • Approximately 8.81 g purple fentanyl
  • Approximately 9.8 g cocaine
  • Unmarked Cigarettes
  • Canadian currency

As a result of the police investigation, a 38-year-old Cobourg man was charged with domestic assault, Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – to wit Fentanyl, Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – to wit Cocaine, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Possess Unmarked Cigarettes, and three counts of Fail to Comply with Probation.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

The Cobourg Police Service notes that since October 2024, the accused has been arrested eight times with 19 criminal charges. In total, police have had 48 interactions with the accused in the past year.
