Queenies Bake Shop in Port Hope Prepares for 14th Annual Free Thanksgiving Meal

Adam Pearson from Queenies Bake Shop on Walton Street spent Saturday, October 11, 2025 preparing for his stores annual free Thanksgiving Lunch.

The lunch takes place on Sunday, October 12 starting at noon. Pearson said it’s his way of giving back to the community for all the support throughout the year.

This year marks Queenies Bake Shop’s 14th annual Thanksgiving Meal.

Pearson said it takes roughly 15 hours took prepare the four, 20 pound and one 44 pound turkey along with everything that goes with it.
