Cobourg Police – Investigating Break and Enter

The Cobourg Police Service is currently investigating a break and enter that occurred on the morning of October 8, 2025.

On October 8, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., police responded to an alarm at a building in the area of Third Street in Cobourg. Upon arrival, police observed insecure doors and a window that appeared to have been forced open. Investigators are working with the property owner to determine if any items were taken.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the police at 905-372-6821 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting stopcrimehere.ca. Tips received through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
