Cobourg Police – Theft from Vehicle and Vehicle Entries

Police are currently investigating theft from a vehicle in the area of Fisher Street and McMurdo Drive in Cobourg.

On the morning of September 18, 2025, at approximately 5:20 a.m., a male suspect on foot was observed on video surveillance conducting multiple vehicle entries. A white UHAUL van was observed following the suspect as they moved from vehicle to vehicle. Tools and other property were reported stolen from one of the vehicles.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information, camera footage of the area, is asked to call the police at 905-372-6821 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting stopcrimehere.ca. Tips received through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
