Belleville Police – Incidents Include Drug Arrests, Breach of Order (Names Released)

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 81 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on September 17, 2025 to 5:00 am on September 18, 2025.

Belleville Police Intelligence / Drug Unit – Drug Arrests
On September 17th 2025, as a result of a Drug Trafficking investigation in the City of Belleville; members of Belleville Drug Unit conducted a vehicle stop arresting two males and one female before proceeding to execute a Controlled Drugs Substance Act Warrant in Belleville’s west end with the assistance of the Belleville Police K9 and Emergency Response Unit.

Police Seized:
· 21.5 grams Cocaine
· 109 grams Crystal Methamphetamine
· 22 cal. Handgun
· $3,930 Canadian Currency

As a result of police investigation, the following persons were arrested and charged:

16-year-old of Whitby whose identity cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 355(b) CC
· Careless Storage of a Firearm – Sec. 86(1) CC
· Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm – Sec. 91(1) CC
· Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm – Sec. 92(1) CC
· Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition – Sec. 95(1) CC
· Fail to Comply with an Undertaking – Sec. 145(4)(a) CC

Elyjah Nelson, 18-year-old Whitby man, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 355(b) CC
· Careless Storage of a Firearm – Sec. 86(1) CC
· Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm – Sec. 91(1) CC
· Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm – Sec. 92(1) CC
· Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition – Sec. 95(1) CC

Kennedy Simpson, 29-year-old Peterborough woman, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Proceeds of crime under $5000 – Sec. 355(b) CC
· Careless Storage of a Firearm – Sec. 86(1) CC
· Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm – Sec. 91(1) CC
· Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Firearm – Sec. 92(1) CC
· Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition – Sec. 95(1) CC

Keisha McBride, 20-year-old Belleville woman, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Fail to Comply with an Undertaking – Sec. 145(4)(a) CC

Sarah Hilts, 45-year-old Belleville woman, was charged with the following offences and released on an Undertaking with a court date in October:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA

Tyler Watson, 40-year-old Belleville man, was charged with the following offences and released on an Undertaking with a court date in October:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Breach of Probation – Sec. 733.1(1) CC

 

Breach of Release Order
On September 17th at 9:15pm, Belleville Police on general patrol on North Front St. observed a male known to be bound by a release order. Investigation revealed the male was in violation of his conditions which required him to remain in his residence every night between the hours of 9:00pm and 6:00am. As a result, Curtis Honey, 35-year-old Trenton resident, was arrested and charged with breach of release order. He was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in October.
