The Cobourg Police Service is currently investigating a robbery that took place on the evening of September 3, 2025. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
On Thursday, September 3, 2025, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers with the Cobourg Police Service responded to a report of a robbery after the fact. The victim reported being assaulted by a group of individuals in the area of Orange Street and Spring Street in Cobourg. Personal property, including an electric scooter, was taken. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information, dashcam footage, or security camera footage of the area is asked to call the police at 905-372-6821 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting stopcrimehere.ca. Tips received through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
