Belleville Police – Kingston Man Charged with Assault

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 102 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on August 25, 2025 to 5:00 am on August 26, 2025.

Assault
On August 26th at 12:46am, Belleville Police responded to a report of a dispute in the city’s west end. Upon arrival, police spoke to the female party who reported that she was assaulted by a male party. During the arrest, the male repeatedly spat at officers. As a result, a 38-year-old Kingston resident was charged with:
· Assault
· Assault causing bodily harm
· Assault with a weapon
· Uttering threats
· Assault a peace officer
· Failure to comply with a probation order

He was held for a bail hearing.
