Cobourg Police – Incidents Include Fail to Comply, Warrant, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking

A 26-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges after being located in violation of probation conditions by police on a foot patrol.

On July 28, 2025, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Safer Streets officers on a foot patrol in Victoria Park located a female in violation of known probation conditions.  As a result of the investigation, the female was arrested and charged with three counts of Fail to comply with Probation. The female was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.


A 43-year-old Cobourg woman has been charged with failing to comply with a release order.

On July 28, 2025, Safer Streets officers conducted a compliance check on an individual under release conditions to reside with a surety. Police confirmed the individual was breaching this condition. While on patrol in the downtown area of Cobourg, police located the individual. As a result of the investigation, the 43-year-old Cobourg woman was charged with failing to comply with a release order. The accused was held for a show cause hearing.


A 28-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges after being arrested on a warrant.

On July 28, 2025, the Safer Streets officers conducted a compliance check on a female and discovered that the female had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Police arrested the female. During the arrest, police located a small quantity of Fentanyl in her possession.

As a result, the 28-year-old Cobourg woman was charged with failing to attend court and possession of a schedule 1 substance. The accused was held for a show cause hearing.


A 31-year-old woman is facing drug charges after being arrested on an outstanding warrant on Tuesday morning.

On July 29, 2025, at approximately 2:46 a.m., police on patrol observed an individual wanted on an outstanding warrant on Division Street in Cobourg. The individual was arrested. During the arrest, police located approximately 10g of suspected Fentanyl and over $700 in Canadian currency.

As a result of the police investigation, Ashley Head (31) of Cobourg was charged with failing to attend court and Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, and Possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000. The accused was held for a show cause hearing.
