Cobourg Police – Two Cobourg Residents Charged with Committing Indecent Act (No Names Released)

Two Cobourg residents are facing charges after police responded to a call for indecent acts at a north-end business.

On July 22, 2025, at approximately 6:20 p.m., police responded to a report of two individuals engaging in indecent acts in a public place near a business in the area of Elgin Street and Division Street in Cobourg. Police opened an investigation and obtained witness statements.

As a result of the police investigation, a 38-year-old Cobourg man was charged with indecent act-public place, and a 27-year-old Cobourg woman was charged with indecent act-public place and possession of a schedule 1 substance. Both accused were released on an undertaking with a future court date.
